The Merzouga activity is very popular in the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Sandboarding is an adventurous activity that allows you to explore the Merzouga dunes. This is one of the most popular activities in Merzouga’s Sahara dunes. It is often included in our overnight camel trek excursion.
Rent a Sandboard to explore the Erg Chebbi – the longest and highest stretch of untouched sand dunes.
We will provide you with sandboards once you arrive at the guesthouse. The sandboards can be taken from the car, then you drive to the dunes.
Erg Chebbi has the largest and most diverse Sand Dunes in Morocco. Sandboarding and even snowboarding are not to be missed by those who love the desert.
Sandboarding Merzouga offers a great way to explore the dunes in the Merzouga Desert. The larger the sand dunes, the longer it takes to ride down.
Sand boards can be taken on camels and 4WDs when you are in the desert. Enjoy sliding down a mountain of sand with your board at your camp, one of the biggest sand dunes. It’s challenging, but also fun.
Both Zagora and Merzouga offer unique desert experiences, but Merzouga is often preferred for its larger dunes and more varied activities.
To fully experience Merzouga and its surroundings, it’s recommended to stay for at least 2 to 3 days.
