Program Itinerary of the Merzouga Day Trip

Around 10:00 am we will leave our guesthouse near the Erg Chebbi to go towards SafSaf Oasis close to the Algerian Border (about 1 km).

We will stop on the way as often as you like to enjoy the beautiful landscape. We will visit a nomad family and share a traditional Berber welcome tea with them.

From Merzouga, we will continue to Safsaf Oasis. It is a stunning place, enclosed by uninhabited high hills and a lush palm tree, with a river of the same name, which is crossed. We will enjoy lunch in such a paradise-like environment.

We will leave SafSaf before sunrise and follow a trail to the Tissardmine oasis. This oasis is a great contrast of rock, water, and vegetation. We will stop and take pictures, then continue to our accommodation to say goodbye.

Nice Day excursion to Safsaf oasis From Merzouga We have spent an unforgettable day with Moha in Merzouga, with a day trip on 4WD through Erg Chebbi dunes, Safsaf oasis, and some rally after. He's very nice and took care of everything. I definitely recommend this activity.
