Our driver/guide will collect you from the hotel you are staying at Marrakech to will begin the four-day desert excursion from Marrakech until Fes.
The journey towards the Kasbah in Ait Benhaddou (A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987) across the mountains of the high Atlas traversing the Tizi N'tichka Pass, which is at an altitude of 2260m, visit the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou The famous construction located in Morocco and take a break for lunch at the local restaurant.
After lunch, we'll travel through Ouarzazate the city. We'll visit the atlas film studios for a shot and then continue to the town's center to enjoy a stunning panorama of the kasbah in Taourirt which is a historical fortified residence.
Following that, you'll travel for Kalaa M'gouna, and Boumalne Dades to spend the night. Dinner and the night stay in the hotel.
After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive towards Tinghir taking in Boumalne du Dades and stopping to enjoy a stunning view from Dades valley. Then, we'll proceed to Todra gorges through Imider along with Tinghir.
On the way, there will make several stops to take photos while taking in the view. You will arrive in Todra Gorges and take in the breathtaking Canyons scenery while walking through it's narrow valleys.
In the afternoon, we head to Tinjdad and stop for lunch before heading to Erfoud which is famous for its fossil-based manufacturers. Following that, we travel to the stunning Dunes at Erg Chebbi. These stunning dunes are also known as Merzouga Dunes.
Get to the sand dunes' edge and prepare to go on a camel ride for an hour and half to take in the stunning sunset with a ambiance filled with laughter and excitement.
When you are sitting on the back of your dromedary with just the sound of a footprints of the camels in the sand. will make your way to the camp to stay overnight in the traditional nomad tent.
Delicious dinner and entertainment around the campfire (Berber Drums) before staying the night in a fully-equipped camp for desert camping with all the facilities in the desert.
The 3rd day of our four-day desert tour from Marrakech through Fes. A stunning morning in the Sahara desert, and a breathtaking sunrise as you're in a borderless area It is definitely worth waking up early to see the most stunning sunrise you've ever witnessed from the top of a dunes close to the camp. Enjoy the unique landscape.
A delicious breakfast is ready for you. Take a shower before riding your camels to Merzouga.
Then we'll go to our way through the Erg Chebbi and its tinny villages, an amazing extension of a sand desert that is home to the Big Dune of Morocco. Then we continue on the road which was used to transport Dakar-Paris "Paris - Dakar" and finish in the desert of black.
The next stop is at a viewpoint where we can look over the hole that Erg Chebbi has dug. Then we'll arrive at Kamilia Village, most of inhabitants are of dark skin, originated from Mali in the Mali region. Here we'll have an energizing tea while we listen to a live performance of local music from Gnawa.
Make a stop at Mefis an abandoned village that is still in the region, where you'll have the opportunity to see the lead mines and other minerals that date back to the French colonial period. We travel on to Mefis via a road that leads us to meet a nomad family who lives in tents, and discover their practices and secrets.
Transfer to your hotel, and some free time to explore the city or dunes that are next to the hotel for a spectacular sunset. Dinner and a night in the hotel.
Following breakfast, we begin our final day of our Desert tour Marrakech to Fes in the north. We travel by way of Tafilalet, the Tafilalet palm grove, which is the largest in the country.
There are hundreds of palm trees along the 20km road. The route leads towards the Ziz valley which is where the water that runs through the palm grove. This is where we stop and, from the top of the hill take in the magnificent view of the valley as well as the Aoufous town.
The day will end with a stop in Midelt city, which is located in the middle of the Atlas in which you can have some free time for lunch and to rest for a bit. In the afternoon, we make our journey to in the Cedar Forest of Azrou and, if we are lucky, we may spot some Barbary Apes next to the road.
The next location we'll go to Ifrane, the capital city. Ifrane located on the northwestern slope of Middle Atlas at 1630 meters above sea level. Its vast avenues, its urbanization with a high standard of cleanliness, its grassy areas, the greenery, and its architectural style make the city appear like a Swiss town.
Ifrane feels lost is a bit lost Morocco. It's the reason it's called "the Moroccan Switzerland", and if that's still not enough, it also has a major skiing resort (Michlifen). There is no sandboarding offered in Zagora, but in Merzouga there is.
There are no quad bikes in Zagora, but they are in Merzouga.
A small backpack with things you might need for the camel ride and an overnight stay in the desert camp. A scarf, a hat, sunglasses, good walking shoes and wet napkins can be useful. If staying at the Comfortable desert camp, you will need to bring your own shower accessories and a towel. To have a comfortable camel trek, we advise to wear jeans, trousers or long shorts.
The sunset camel ride is about 1 hour and sunrise trek is 40 minutes.
It is possible to skip the camel ride. But to get to the desert camp you will need either to walk with the guide (about 1 hour at sunset and 40 minutes at sunrise) or take 4×4 which.
In winter temperatures fall dramatically and it can be freezing at night, please bring warm sleeping clothes with you.

4-day tour Marrakech-Fes- excellent experience We did the 4-day Marrakech-Merzouga-Fez tour and it has exceeded the expectations we had. The guides have been lovely, and wherever we went they have treated us great. The very responsible driver, has taken us insurance at another time. Good hotels, good food and good service. In addition, we have visited more things than we had planned and it has been a great few days, without getting bored but without going in a hurry. I have no complaints, I totally recommend it
