This day trip allows you to admire the Ourika River, from its source, all the way up to the city of Marrakech. Enjoy a stroll from Setti Fatma village, where you can cross the waterfalls one by one, and head towards the heart of the Ourika Valley, which is rooted in Atlas Mountains.

Discover the abundance of plants that exist on the red ground of the Ourika Valley and don’t miss the opportunity to meet the macaque.

Enjoy the variety of light in this place and take some amazing photos. Relax and enjoy the hearty Berber tagine at one of our valley’s many traditional restaurants.

This is the perfect activity for those who want to experience the High Atlas Mountains but don’t want to climb too high.

This 1 Day trip Marrakech – Ourika Valley takes you to one of the most beautiful valleys in Morocco, with several waterfalls. About 30 km south of Marrakech, around an hour drive from Marrakech.

We will travel through the Haouz plain and along the Ourika River, where there is always plenty of water.

Proceed across the valley and make a stop at a women-run local cooperative selling Argan oil. Next, proceed to Setti Fatma village, situated around 1500 metres above sea level, where you may discover the most exquisite and enchanting settlements.

Splendid Ourika Valley day trip My mother and I went on a day trip from Marrakesh to the Ourika valley with Ali and Omar- and had a wonderful time. Our guides are such pleasant gentlemen, who took care of my mother, whilst assuring that I got to see everything. We were given good information about everything we saw and got to stop at a Berber home (with a wonderful Berber mama who took great joy in having us in her home), at an Organic Cooperative and at a rickety bridge across a valley that I was satisfied to cross (as Omar gleefully took pictures of my precarious steps) When we got to the Sitti Fatima, my mother stayed at a restaurant with a wonderful view of the river with Ali, whilst Omar guided me up to the waterfall itself- it was a great climb, and he was generous sufficient to take to role of photographer!

Best 1-Day trip Marrakech to Ourika valley My husband and I took a day trip from Marrakech to Ourika and it was above our expectations, our guide Ahmed was so patient and knowledgeable. When reached, we saw plenty of magnificent views and we have enough stops to take beautiful pictures. The local restaurant we had lunch in was reasonable, and they serve very delicious food. Special thanks to Said who respond to us quickly and clearly. I 100% recommend it to everyone!
