Great 1-Day Trip Marrakesh to Imlil village Our 1-day trip to the Imlil Valley was fantastic! Brahem was an amazing guide who picked us up from our Riad and drove us to Imlil into the magnificent valley taking in a few beauty spots along the way. The walk was through stunning landscape and Brahem made us feel at home explaining all about the process of life in Imlil Village (with a few jokes along the way!). Our special highlight was visiting the waterfall and relaxing in the sun having cooled down after washing our feet in the water. Lunch was great and therefore the terrace highlights an enjoyable view beyond the valley. This a great day trip to take if you want to get out of Marrakech for the day but maybe don't have the opportunity to travel further away overnight. We highly recommend it !!!
An amazing day trip to the imlil valley!! We took a day trip into the Atlas Mountains to the Imlil valley and it was amazing! Our driver was Ali and our tour guide was Omar and we would highly recommend both of them - they were both wonderful, caring, and extremely experts! They certainly made the 1-day trip Marrakech to Imlil village amazing - would repeat a million times over with them! The place is gorgeous and the food was also delicious - very well organized-a great day trip!
Best Day trip to Imlil Valley We had an incredible outing to Imlil with Hassan our guide. We were collected from Jemaa al Fna square at 9 am and after a luxury minibus journey, we were within the valley able to hike for about 8:30 am. Hassan will ask what you'd wish to see and where you'd wish to walk so you'll choose and plan your trip together with his maps. Hassan knows all about the physiography of the world and can means and explain rock types, formation, and their reference to the plants, animals, and locals' way of life. Also as he comes from Berber ancestry he can talk for hours about the history of Morocco, the tribes and rulers, and everyone about the Berber culture. One more emotional thing is when met some Berber people along the way who were warmly handing out sweet mint tea to walkers, and within the cold mountain air, it tastes like nectar!
Excellent Day Trip to Imlil Valley Mohammed was our guide for a day trip into the Imlil Valley from Marrakech. He met us at our hotel in Marrakesh at 9 am and we spent the next 10 hours with him driving through the Imlil village. We visited many villages, waterfalls and stopped for a traditional Moroccan lunch. We were welcomed with mint tea everywhere we went. Mohammed's driving was excellent and he was a very capable guide. He speaks English well and was a very friendly host and 100% safe. I'd have no reservations about going with Mohammed again and next time to Morocco I will surely try to schedule a trip with him again.
Best day trip ever in the Atlas Mountains! We will recommend this Marrakech day trip to everyone, we had the best time ever! Addi picked us up in front of the hotel in a great 4x4 car. On the road, he told us some truths about the local people and the area. We made several stops for panoramic pictures. The woman at the organ oil cooperation was very nice and kind. The camel ride was big fun as well. After that, it was an opportunity to attend several Berber hamlets in the Atlas Mountains. They are all very friendly and hospitable. During the walk, we had a fun and meantime educative walk in the mountains and to the beautiful Cascades. Ibrahim and Addi are both very gentle and kind, and it looks that they weren't just excellent drivers and tour guides but very good photographers as well, they took many pictures for us with our own cameras. Thank you Ibrahim and Addi for this memorable adventure, next time if we want a trip to the desert it will definitely be with you again!
If you are in Marrakech, this is a MUST Priceless once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Amazing food, breathtaking views, complete with plenty of really interesting information. Youssef may be a wonderful guide- a really knowledgeable and really cool guy. Especially if you're staying in Marrakech, it's an excellent idea to urge faraway from the town for each day to breathe the fresh mountain air. Will remember today forever. Plus it's super fun to require a personal tour, well-paced and intimate.
